He died on 8th June 1944, on board Hurricane IIC LF749 which took off from RAF Turweston to carry out fighter affiliation training duty. The aircraft was seen to dive steeply to the ground and crash at Boycott Farm, 2-miles N/W of Buckingham.

He died on 15th January 1945, on board Lancaster LM619 from 1668 Conversion Unit. The aircraft took off on a night bombing practice from RAF Bottesford, Lincolnshire. On return to base the aircraft crashed colliding with a large tree near Westborough Lincolnshire.
He died on 8th April 1945, whilst on board Wellington Bomber BK133 which was carrying out night solo circuits. The aircraft crashed near Great Rollright, Oxfordshire while undertaking a single engine approach and overshoot exercise.

He died on 10th October 1944, on board an Airspeed Oxford Training aircraft LX521 from 6 Pilot Advanced Flying, RAF Little Rissington, Gloucestershire for a night circuits and landing exercise. The aircraft flew into a tree at Windrush, 2-miles east of Aldsworth near Burford, Oxfordshire.

He died on 7th July 1943, on board Wellington Bomber X3160, from 15 Op Training, RAF Harwell, Oxfordshire. The aircraft took off on a cross country training exercise and caught fire following the failure of holding down studs to number 5 cylinder in the port engine. The bomber broke up in mid-air over White Horse Hill, east of Ashbury.
He died on 6th March 1945, on board Lancaster Bomber C' for Charlie, 582 Pathfinder Squadron, from RAF Little Stoughton which was returning from a bombing raid on Chemnitz, Germany. A target illiminator bomb exploded sending the aircraft hurtling to the ground 3-miles N/W of Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
He died on 4th April 1944, when his Lancaster Bomber R5726 exploded in mid-air half a mile from Branston, Nottinghamshire. There were no survivors.

The aircraft took off at 2205 hrs on a night flight to carry out specialist ABC duties* in support of a sortie on Nuremburg Germany. The aircraft crashed at 0503 hrs the following day coming down at near RAF Welford, near Newbury, Berkshire. *carrying airborne cigar radio jamming equipment
He enlisted in Sydney, NSW and died on 16th November 1943, on board Wellington Bomber W5690 from 15 Op Training at RAF Hampstead Norris, Berkshire. The aircraft took off on a night training exercise when the number one cylinder on the head barrel of the starboard engine split. The aircraft lost height and crashed 200 yards south of Westridge.

Flying Officer Watts died on 2nd April 1945, on board Wellington Bomber LN159, 29 Op Training. The aircraft took off from RAF Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire on air gunnery training. During the flight the aircraft brushed the ground of a rising hill at the end of area of inland water where the propellers were damaged and collided with a tree crashing 4-miles south west of the airfield.
He died on 12th August 1944, on board Wellington Bomber MF 530, from 21 Op Training. The aircraft taxied for a day time fighter affiliation exercise and struck a vehicle at Moreton-in-Marsh airfield.
