Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Halliday, of Port Lincoln, have been advised of the death of their son, Pilot George Halliday, of the Royal Australian Air Force, in England.
He spent part of his schooldays in Port Lincoln, and later studied for the ministry. Up to the time of his enlistment he was in charge of Colonel Light Gardens Baptist Church. He was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Halliday, and leaves a wife, to whom he was married after joining the Air Force.
