Mr. and Mrs. Don Axford, of Wright street, Adelaide, have been informed that their eldest son, Ordinary Seaman Stanley Don Axford, who has been missing since the sinking of HMAS Armidale on December l, 1942, must now be presumed to have lost his life on December 8, 1942, OS Axford was formerly employed by Clarkson, Ltd.
