Left to right, back row: 436464 Flying Officer (FO) Patrick Joseph Hogan, of Perth, WA, who enlisted on 26 May 1943 and was discharged on 23 February 1946; 428968 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Gregory Wills Dixon, of Sydney, NSW, who enlisted on 22 October 1942. Front row: 428602 FO Alan Percy William Shelton, of Melbourne, Vic, who enlisted in Melbourne, Vic, and FO Johnson who enlisted on 26 May 1943. At the time of their deaths, Dixon and Shelton were aged 21 years and Johnson was aged 24 years.
