MELBOURNE. —The death of Sgt-Pilot Peter Morphett Piggott, formerly of Clarendon, in an aircraft accident, is reported in an Air Force casualty list issued today. Sgt. Piggott's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Piggott, of Clarendon, received advice that he was buried at Castlemaine Cemetery Sunderland, England. He was aged 21. Before he enlisted in the R.A.A.F. in October 1940. Sgt. Piggott assisted in his father's vineyard and later studied for the wool classing Diploma at the Adelaide School of Mines. In February last he went to Rhodesia to complete his training as a pilot and there he married a South African girl in September.
