The death has been announced from London of Murray Edward Thompson, of the R.A.N.R., the son of Mr. W. Thompson, of William street, Semaphore. He was killed in the raids on September 7 or 8. He rejoined the naval reserve just before the out-break of war, and became gunlayer on one of the merchant vessels which were fitted with guns in Australia, and manned by members of the R.A.N.R.
